As we move through the month of August, we have several important updates regarding our weekly schedule and some very special celebrations coming up in September. Here is everything you need to know to stay connected and engaged with our church community.
Power Up Wednesdays: August Hiatus
Please take note of our modified schedule for Power Up Wednesdays during the month of August.
- Midweek Manna and the Wednesday Bible Study with Pastor Kemp are currently on break from August 5th through August 26th.
- The Antioch Prayer Meeting will continue to meet as usual every Wednesday at 5:15 PM.
We look forward to the return of Midweek Manna and Bible Study on Wednesday, September 2nd, at 12:00 Noon and 6:30 PM. We can’t wait to kick off the new season with you!
Celebrating 17 Years of Leadership
September is going to be a month of celebration! Each Sunday morning throughout the month, the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church family will be celebrating the 17th Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Kenneth Kemp and Lady Velma Kemp.
We are honored to host an incredible lineup of guest ministers during this anniversary month, including:
- Dr. Eric Mansfield
- Dr. Christopher Stackhouse
- Dr. Eric Alexander
- Reverend Dexter McDonald
Join us as we show our appreciation for Pastor and Lady Kemp’s 17 years of dedicated service and leadership.
Kickin’ it with the Kemps: Youth & Young Adult Event
On Sunday, September 13th, immediately following our 10:00 AM service, we invite all youth and young adults to join us in Rector Hall for “Kickin’ it with the Kemps.”
This is a casual, open conversation with Pastor and Lady Kemp designed to bridge the gap between Sunday morning service and everyday life. This is a great opportunity to get:
- Insights into biblical wisdom
- Practical life advice
- Encouragement regarding faith and family
Come ready to build stronger relationships with Christ and with each other in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
